This old Weimar Porzellan series is inspired by the playful rococo period. Time and again, well known historical buildings from the classical Weimar era inspired the artists of Weimar Porzellan.

Château is a tribute to the hospitable Duchess Anna Amalia, at the time of the Weimar Classics, in whose castle Tiefurt an ingenious circle of friends gathered for cheerful table discussions. Enjoyment and sensual delights from that time still linger in the Château series today. The noble stylistic elements and the delicate little feet on the items emphasize the playful and soft touch of the Château series.

Luxuriant flowers and gold decorations are artistically set in the centre, framed by satin glistening gold and add grace and glory to the series. The gilded feet and handles are carefully hand-painted and emphasise the series' unique character.
